Malcolm O. Bassett

St. Petersburg, FL- Malcolm O. Bassett, USCG CWO #4 Ret., 77, died peacefully on November 20, 2017, in St. Petersburg, Florida, formerly of Eastport, ME. He was predeceased by his wife of 31 years, Janet McCullum Bassett; a brother, Richard Bassett; parents, George and Catherine Bassett. Malcolm is survived by his son, Bill Bassett; a daughter, Jana Bassett-Fulkerson; a sister, Carol Webster and her husband Tom; a brother, George Bassett, II; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at 12:00pm at Calvary Cemetery, Broadway, South Portland. Arrangements are under the direction of the Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Home, 1024 Broadway, South Portland.
