Lucille P. Kallis

ALFRED Lucille P. Kallis 83 a longtime resident of Alfred died Tuesday Jan. 1 at the Greenwood Ctr. following a short illness. She was born in Sanford April 15, 1924 the daughter of Thomas & Mary (Callahan) Guay. She was educated in Sanford schools. She has been residing in Alfred since the late 1930's.She assisted her late husband Bertram with his business Kallis Garage for many years. She was a housewife & homemaker. She enjoyed feeding her wildbirds, and animals in general. She was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the American Legion in Alfred.Her husband Bertram died in 1992.Survivors are two sons, Alan Kallis and his wife JoAnn of Kennebunk and Scott Kallis and his wife Sara of Belfast.Five grandchildren, Matthew & Michael Kallis, Melissa Burr, Jessica & Lucinda Kallis, Seven great grandchildren, Nikolas, Troy, Hannah, Olivia, Isabelle & Lilly Kallis and Graydon Burr.At Mrs. Kallis's request, there will be no funeral services.
