  1. I used to love to take care of your mom at PCAL. My sympathy to Gilda and all of her family. She was an extraordinary and amazing woman. She will be missed

  2. The years pass so quickly. I remember moving in next door to you girls and your mom on Deering Avenue when I was a junior in high school. From there I met your sweet grandmother, who moved into one of our apartments. I enjoyed visiting with your grandmother and learning how she grew up in Aroostook County. I also learned she was very religious, how she enjoyed cooking and loved to sew.
Your mom and I became friends, and we actually commuted together to college in Gorham. From there, I met your uncle Lionel, who also lived in Aroostook County. He and my mother met and ended up getting married. I remember how devoted your mother was to your grandmother when she was living in an assisted living facility in Portland. We kept our friendship up when she also moved into an assisted living facility. And from there into Seaside, we always enjoyed talking about her childhood, where she lived in Eagle Lake, and then went onto a joint high school /teacher preparation school, in a neighboring town where she boarded. She had this wonderful sense of humor and laugh, which I will always remember. Your mom loved you children and grandchildren so much and enjoyed your visits and phone calls immensely.
