Louise B. Pinkerton

Louise B. Pinkerton, 102, of Springvale, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2010 at the Lodges Care Center in Springvale.Mrs. Pinkerton was born in East Boston, MA on September 3, 1907 to Chester and Bell Burk of Somerville, MA. She graduated from Somerville High School in 1925 and then attended Nasson College in Springvale until 1928. She was married to John B. Pinkerton of Sanford. Mrs. Pinkerton loved music, horse racing and being near all of her friends and family while living at Wells Beach. Mrs. Pinkerton was predeceased by her husband.Surviving are a son, Robert H. Pinkerton of Kennebunk; a daughter, Harriet (Pinkerton) Lacey of Wells; three grandchildren, Deborah J. Cheney of Wells, James R. Lacey of York, and Sue L. Girouard of Saco. Also surviving are two great grandchildren, Danny Cheney of Haverhill, MA and Ana Q. Girouard of Saco and two great-great grandchildren, Joshua A. Cheney and Caleb Cheney both of Haverhill MA.Funeral services for Mrs. Pinkerton will be private.Mrs. Pinkerton loved watching the sunset.
