Louise G. Libby

Louise G. Libby, 86, of West Newfield, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2006 at the Goodall Hospital in Sanford. She was born in Limington, on February 23, 1920, a daughter of Millard and Callie (Harmon) Gammon.She attended Limington schools, graduating from Limington Academy in 1938. In 1939 she married Leland Libby. They made their home in West Newfield where they raised their family. She enjoyed sewing, reading, crafts, cooking and mending. She was a member of the West Newfield Women's Fellowship.She is predeceased by her husband, Leland Libby. She is survived by her three daughters and their spouses, Mrs. Raymond (Irene) Horn of Tamworth, NH, Mrs. Joseph (Elaine) Vachon of Sanford and Mrs. Philip (Ada) Burbank of West Newfield, 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Visiting hours will be on Saturday October 14 from 6-8pm at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street in Springvale. A funeral service will be held on Sunday at 2pm at the West Newfield Congregational Church.
