Lorraine L. Fabrizio

Lorraine L. Fabrizio, 73, of Sanford, died January 15 at the Newton Center in Sanford after a lengthy illness.She was born in Weymouth, MA on November 6, 1935, the daughter of Norman A. and Vera (Blanchard) Lincoln. She attended Stoughton Schools and the Brockton Beauty Academy in Brockton, MA.Laurie taught hairdressing at the LeBaron Beauty Academy and the Brockton Beauty Academy. She and her husband moved to Maine in 1986.Laurie and her husband Donald were both musically inclined. She could play the piano and the guitar and was a vocalist specializing in jazz, swing and gospel music. They performed together over the years at private parties and local nursing homes.Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Donald A. Fabrizio of Sanford, 4 sons, Raymond Spencer and his wife Glenna of St. Augustine, FL, Bruce Spencer and his wife Rosemary of Brockton, MA, Mark Spencer of Littleton, NH, Bradley Spencer of Orlando, FL, a daughter, Donna Sibilio and her husband Jason of Twin Mt., NH, 2 brothers, Norman Lincoln and his wife Helen of Hanson, MA, Charles Lincoln of Antrim, NH, 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be conducted on Monday at 10 AM at the funeral home.
