Lorraine F. Chick

Lorraine F. Chick, 94, of Sanford, passed away on Sunday April 8, 2018 at the Lodges in Springvale. She was born in South Berwick on April 18, 1923, a daughter of the late Albert and Emily (Gilliland) Roberge. She graduated from Berwick Academy in 1939 and Nasson College in 1943.She taught business courses in Somers, CT for a year, Thornton Academy in Saco for five years and 29 years at Sanford High School.Lorraine was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Howard Arthur Chick, her sister, Pauline Gordon of Welcome, MD, and her brother, Albert Roberge Jr., of South Berwick.She is survived by her daughter, Janice of Danvers, MA, Joanne and companion, Stephen A. Mosher of Bath, grandson, Joshua of Danvers, MA, and his fiancee Shannon Sullivan, a brother in law, Tom Gordon of Welcome, MD, as well as several nieces and nephews.At Mrs. Chick's request there will be a graveside service for family on Friday April 13th at 2:30PM at Riverside Cemetery. Later that afternoon family and friends are invited to gather for a time of remembrance from 4 to 7PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.At the family's request no flowers or donations please.Condolences may be expressed at www.blackfuneralhomes.com
