Lorette Dubois Chevalier
Lorette Dubois Chevalier, 86, of Sanford, died February 20 at the Newton Center in Sanford after a long illness.She was born in Springvale on July 8, 1926, the daughter of Emile and Annie (Cloutier) Ruel and attended Holy Family School.She had been employed over the years with the Goodall Sanford Textile Mills as a burler and mender.She was a communicant of St. Ignatius Church.She was predeceased by her first husband Gaston Dubois and her second husband Conrad Chevalier.Survivors include her son Richard E. Dubois and his wife Brenda of Sanford, son Paul W. Dubois and his wife Hollye of Panama City, FL, granddaughter Kimberly Slaughter and her children Alexandra, Julian and Emersyn of Atlanta, GA, grandson William G. Dubois of Dover, NH, granddaughter Kelly Lane and her husband Phil of Texas, granddaughter Renee Dubois of Sanford, a sister, Doris Cantin of Sanford and her stepchildren Mike, Jean, Pat, Rachel and Claire.Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday from 5 to 7 PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 AM at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish at Holy Family Church, 66 North Avenue, Sanford. Burial will be in the spring in St. Ignatius Cemetery in Sanford.Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.
