Lisa M. Croteau, 56 of Biddeford passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July13, 2023. She was born on February 10, 1967, to Roger and Ida (Bineau) Gagnon in Biddeford where she grew up and attended local schools graduating from Biddeford High School. She spent most of her time as a homemaker. Lisa took immense pride in her role as a mother and grandmother. Her family was the center of her universe, and she poured her love into each and every one of them. Lisa was educated as a phlebotomist and was always interested in the medical field. As her family grew up, she was employed as a house cleaner and was extremely good at it. A breast cancer survivor, she embraced life with an unyielding spirit, cherishing every moment and touching the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Throughout her life, Lisa approached every experience with a sense of adventure and a genuine appreciation for the present moment. She lived without regrets, choosing to focus on the positive and the blessings that filled her days. Her unwavering faith, rooted in her Catholic beliefs, served as an anchor, providing her with strength and comfort in times of difficulty. She enjoyed listening to music and dancing, being outdoors, coloring and watching movies, (especially horror movies), and all the while being fashionable and stylish. To her family, Lisa was an extraordinary Nana whose love knew no bounds. She showered her grandchildren and loved ones with affection, providing unwavering support and guidance. Her warm hugs and comforting presence created a safe haven where love and laughter flourished. Lisa was always filled with joy, creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever. She was quick to love, had a contagious laugh and was always the life of the party. Lisa is predeceased by her parents, her sister Sandra D. Gagnon, and her aunt Pricilla Herrick. Survivors include her husband Marc N. Croteau, her children Angela Gagnon-Croteau (Dutch Goff), Ashley Gagnon-Croteau (Ryan Gallant), and Joshua Croteau, grandchildren, Tiana Croteau-Paige (Bryce Bedard), Ella McKenna, Sophia Beckwith and Hudson Gallant, and Chloe Goff, all of Biddeford, her brothers Roger Gagnon and Paul Gagnon, and many nieces nephews, cousins in laws and special friends. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 28, 2023, at 1:00 P.M St. Joseph's Church 178 Elm St, Biddeford. To leave a message of condolence click on Lisa's remember page.

  1. I admired my mother Street. She was a strong woman for losing all of her family due to cancer, survived cancer, and she always lived like she didn’t care what anyone thought of her. She brought the best out of everyone and she did not talk about anybody. She always thought everyone has equals no matter what they have going on.

  2. I love her laugh harass is so contagious that he will hold out with you for a lifetime. I will always remember that laugh and the way that she made others laugh as well because you had no other choice it was that contagious

  3. My mothers legacy is her family and her beautiful grandchildren. She built the greatest board with her family. She made her feel is so close and kind and loving. She nearest us all and try to make us believe that if we loved one another and put good out there it will come back to you. This world is filled with a lot of sadness. My mother always knew how to light up a room and make it a happy, beautiful world.

  4. She was always there to listen to you no matter if you just met her I know her all your life. She always listened and really cared genuinely care about what was going on with that person. If you were involved in her life, subway or Zelda, he felt special and you knew you had someone to turn to do better what my mom know how to keep a secret that she was my best friend we spent the last two years side-by-side

  5. She was my mother, but also my best friend that I thought I was gonna grow old with. She was supposed to walk me down the aisle of the wedding day. She was my best friend I spent the last two years straight nonstop with.

  6. My mother, my fiancé and I we’re going to the Snoop Dogg concert July 28. It means field S because that was something that she was so excited to do and we made it come true and she was waiting for this day to come. Unfortunately that day is the day we will hold her for Funeral in the church And her honor Ed she will not regret any moment unless I do not go on that concert because she is not with me. I still need to go I can hear her now do you always those tickets it’s Snoop Dogg are you crazy you better be going ANG !!!

  7. The most loving person anyone could have a day life if you were lucky to know her then you know that you were blessed just to know her she feel the room with smiles. She love to dance and be happy, and she never gave away any moment she cherished every little moment in her life, because her silly closest ones to her died so young she need to cherish every single moment with her family and her children. She loved her grandchildren so much that you could see the joy and pride radiating off of her

  8. She loved so hard and saw even hotter. This girl had a pure heart of gold and was the strongest woman I’ve ever met. She brought her breast cancer and survived it the first survivor and I file to fight breast cancer and won!!!

  9. I love you my Hott momma!! Miss you so much already, I keep hearing your voice in my head and I know you are with all of us smiling down keeping us safe. I’ll forever speak your name in memory to my kids!

  10. My mom always said LOVE is the answer just love each other. Family is everything! She always said to Be thankful for today because tomorrow is never promised. Life is too short to be mad at anyone so Forgive quick and love! Everything will all make sense in its own time, it’s the stages of life you just have to go with the flow and let go of things you can’t control. She loved her family!!

Aunt Lisa was the most kind hearted amazing person you could ever meet!! most humble and fun Aunt that I could’ve ever asked for! she wasn’t my aunt she was more like a mom, best friend to me and my daughter Lilly who she loved so so much! There was nothing more important to ma taunte Lisa than her family!!! She will be missed and thought of every day by all of us. We love you auntie and will see you again!! FOR NOW U ARE OUR ANGEL!!!
