Lisa M. Bromfield

lisa bromfield
Portland- Lisa Marie Paolino, 51, of Hicks Street died peacefully on Monday, February 28, 2022 after an extended illness. Lisa was born in Portland, Maine on October 26, 1970 to Thomas and Dianne Paolino. She was a 1988 graduate of Portland High School, and went on to earn an Associate's Degree from Andover College. With Lisa's kindhearted nature, it was only natural that she found her true calling as a Substance Abuse Counselor in the South Portland and Westbrook areas. Her passion for the work she did shone through her innate ability to help others heal and navigate recovery. Lisa loved spending time with her family whether watching the Walking Dead, or cooking enough authentic Italian food to feed an army. She was an avid reader of Stephen King's books, die-hard fan of the Denver Bronco's, and lover of all things in nature. Her adoration for animals ranged from horses, to the chipmunks and squirrels in her own backyard. Her warmhearted and sarcastically-witty nature will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. Lisa was predeceased by her father, Thomas Paolino. She is survived by her mother, Dianne Paolino of Westbrook; a brother, Eugene Paolino of Westbrook; a son, Thomas Ward of Portland; a daughter, Shelby Ward and granddaughter, Hailey Tracy of Buxton. A celebration of Lisa's life will be held in the spring at Moody's Event Hall in Gorham on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. 4. I just recently heard of Lisa’s passing… I cared for her many times in the hospital; I’m sure I speak on behalf of not only myself, but my colleagues as well when I say she will not be forgotten… Lisa was always such a sweet, loving, and entertaining woman. Having cared for this woman in some of her weakest times, I can only begin to imagine how remarkable she was in her day-to-day life. Fly high, Lisa, you’ll always be loved and remembered.
