Linda D. Blunt

Linda D. Blunt, 57, of Springvale, died on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford.Linda was born in Biddeford on May 30, 1959 to Joseph and Cecile (Bernier) Boisvert. She grew up in Saco where she attended local schools. In 1977 she married Donald Blunt and together they raised two children and shared nearly 39 years of marriage. During her working life she was employed as a CNA and then as the manager of a Bingo hall in South Portland.Linda enjoyed listening to music and playing games online. She also liked to cooking and preparing meals for her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.Surviving are her husband Donald R. Blunt of Springvale; two daughters, Kristy Blunt of Sanford and Tiffany Lucas and her husband Matthew of Sanford; four grandchildren, Brianna Leach, Trevor Blunt, Elara Lucas and Blake Lucas and two siblings, Dorothy Dewitt and Joseph Boisvert, Jr.Private services will be held at a later date.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider sending a memorial contribution to the American Cancer Society, New England Division, 1 Bowdoin Mill Island Suite 300, Topsham, Maine 04086.Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.To leave a message of condolence for the family please click on the condolences tab to the left.
