Lillian S. McDonald, 78, of Springvale, passed away on Tuesday November 17, 2020 while vacationing in North Carolina. She was born in Sanford on July 26, 1942 a daughter of the late Leo and Helen (Bickford) Moody. She attended local schools and graduated from Sanford High School in 1960.For many years she owned a Hotel Management Company along with her husband Wes. Lillian was a faithful and active member of the Pleasant Free Baptist Church in Springvale. She had a passion to care for others. She loved her cats as well as spending time at the beach. Most of all she loved spending quality time with her family.She is predeceased by her son, Jimmie Dwayne Nicholas.She is survived by her children, Nicki Vachon and partner Jay Sanborn of Lebanon, Kelly Walsh and partner, Roger Gilpatrick of Sanford, Tracy Barone and husband, Dan of Charlotte, North Carolina, Richard McDonald of Rochester, NH, Patricia Nicholas, Steven McDonald and his wife, Maryanne of Arlington, MA, Cheryl and John Johnson of Farmington, NH. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Adam R. Nicholas and wife, Carly of Kennebunk, Jessica Walsh and Joshua Walsh both of Sanford, Skylar, Jordan, and Zachary Barone of Charlotte, NC, Joshua and Christine Belanger of Acton, Adam Wesley Johnson of Farmington, NH, Ryan Johnson and wife, Jillian of Farmington, NH, Andrew Johnson of Farmington, NH, Jayson Sanborn of Manchester, NH, Chris Vachon of Florida, Christopher Rock, Amanda Hughes, Margaret McDonald. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Robert Moody and his wife, Marsha of Hays, Kansas, one sister Bonnie Day of Florida.A funeral service will take place on Friday, November 27th at 11AM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.
