Lester E. Hodgkins

Lester E. Hodgkins, Jr., 63, of Freedom, a longtime resident of Sanford, died October 12th at home.He was born in Sanford on November 30, 1944, the son of Lester E. and Kathleen (Harriman) Hodgkins, Sr. and attended Sanford schools.A Sanford resident most of his life, he moved to Freedom 5 years ago.He worked as a truck driver most of his life and was a member of the Wolves Club in Sanford.He was predeceased by his wife, Judith A. (Small) Hodgkins in 2005.Survivors include a daughter Kimberly Peck of Maryville, TN and her children Aaron Peck, Brittany Peck and Tori Peck all of Nashville, TN, his mother Kathleen Wooden of Rochester, NH, stepdaughter Kathy Arseneault, her husband Bryan and their children Blayne and Saige of Greene, sisters Edith Anderson of Rochester, NH, Ernestine King of Adams, TN, his fiance, Ramona King, nephew Alexander C. King both of Freedom, his dogs Jasmine and Jake and his cat Juju.Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday from 6-8 PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.
