Lee Elizabeth Palmquist, 68, of Springvale, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, November 2, 2023. She leaves behind a legacy of love, family, and cherished interests. Lee was born on May 5, 1955, in Attleboro, Massachusetts, to her loving parents, Roy and Helen (Stahl) Palmquist. She spent her formative years in Foxboro, Massachusetts, where she attended local schools, ultimately graduating from Foxboro High School in 1973. Her pursuit of knowledge led her to Northeastern University in Boston and the Catherine Gibbs Business School, where she honed her skills and developed her strong work ethic. During her professional life, Lee made significant contributions as an administrative assistant for Campbell Environmental Group in Falmouth and Roberts and Shirley Law office in Springvale. Her dedication and attention to detail were appreciated by all who had the privilege of working with her. Lee had a passion for sewing and collecting fabrics, making her an accomplished seamstress. Her enthusiasm for genealogy was evident in the hours she spent researching her family's history. Lee also found solace and joy in reading, particularly indulging in romance novels. Her quiet and gentle demeanor made her a warm and comforting presence, especially in her home, where she relished spending time with her family. Above all, Lee was a loving sister and aunt who cherished the company of her relatives. Her affectionate nature and warm heart left an indelible mark on those she held dear. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Lee is survived by her sister, Sharon Joyce of West Newfield; her nephew, Matthew Joyce of West Newfield; and a host of other cousins, nieces, and nephews who will carry her memory forward. A celebration of Lee's life and interment will be held at a later date, allowing family and friends to come together and honor her memory. Arrangements for Lee's services are under the thoughtful direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale, a testament to the care and respect they hold for those they serve.
