Kristian Hunter Gallagher February 6, 1996 - June 27, 2024 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Kristian H. Gallagher on June 27th. Kristian, affectionately known as K.G. and Peanut, was a beloved son, brother, and friend. Born and raised in Westbrook, Maine. Kristian found solace in the freedom of skateboarding and the serenity of the great outdoors. He also loved to cook, especially for family and friends. His genuine kindness and handsome smile left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him. He will be forever cherished by his devoted parents, Kathy and John Gallagher, as well as his extended family and friends. May Kristian's spirit find eternal peace and may we all find comfort in the memories we shared with him. Rest in peace, Kristian.

  1. Kristian was very deep about things. He loved learning about business and the ways of the world. Donnie Darco was one of his favorite films and he enjoyed reading books.

  2. Kristian was my first crush. I met him when I was about 11 years old. We kept in touch throughout the years, but he was facing challenges and long distance drove us apart. I was talking to a friend of mine about him, and she was like “where is he now? You should look him up” so I did. Sadly and utterly shocked to find he has passed, too early. Too soon. I began crying. He really was such a sweet and dear soul. He had a lot going on in his life, but he was a gem. I wish I was able to have saved him from this tragedy. May you rest in peace, love. Until the wheel turns anew.

  3. He always cared and had tons of compassion for other people. One time, my friends were snooping through my journals and sharing my info with everyone. I ran to my room crying because i was embarrassed. Kristian pushed the door open, because I was sitting on the floor leaning against it, and he came in, out his arm around me and hugged me. It was the sweetest memory I have of him

  4. He had a really hard time letting go of things. He had a case of his ex girlfriends things in one of his drawers. He had a hard time letting her go. Kristian enjoyed collecting knives and his favorite color was turquoise. He didn’t have much patience and he tended to be depressed. There was a lot going on internally within himself. He was a deep and caring soul.

  5. When Kristian was little he thought it was hilarious to come into the living room if I was laying on the floor or our big brother Johnny and stand over us and just DROP like a ton of bricks onto our stomach….get up and do it all over again, esp if we laughed and said OOOFFFF oh my word you are sooooo heavy! Even if he wasn’t….

  6. He is beautiful, no matter what, he is beautiful. The most beautiful person and soul you will ever have the pleasure of meeting.

  7. Being our brother, our kids will always remember him, and we will carry his name and love him and remember his memory forever.

  8. Peanut to all but you will always be my baby bear bc you were fierce like me, we may be the babies but no one messed with us. You will always be the one who I joked with about so many different things, the one I talked to on sleepless night, and when you needed to talk I was there, but if you ghosted me I always found you because that’s what big sisters are for. Your nieces and nephews love you so big baby bear. I love you beyond any kind of reason or rhyme. You will always be apart of me. You will always have my name. You will always be tattooed onto me KG as KG no matter whose initials it means now…. I love you Kristian Hunter. Always and Forever – Love always Your Big Sister
