kristen connors
Kristen Michelle Connors, 36 of Sanford, passed away Monday June 11th, 2018. Kristen was born to Merle and Michelle Connors on January 2, 1982. She grew up in Sanford, where she attended local schools. Growing up she was a free spirit who loved spending time with her friends, roller skating, dancing, skiing and searching for constant adventures. After graduating High School, Kristen returned to the classroom working with children with developmental disabilities, helping to enrich the lives of others. Kristen left the job she loved to then begin her greatest and most fulfilling adventure, becoming a mom to her pride and joys, Daunte and Jyrzie. Whether she was running her kids to their games, dance class, a friend's house, just sitting at home together or heading out on a new adventure with them, it was with them that she was her happiest.Kristen's love for adventure continued throughout her life. Outgoing and living without fear, she brought life to places she entered. She had a great love for music. She was always singing wherever she was. In the car, sitting at home, going out and grabbing the mic on karaoke night or jumping on stage with the band, she loved to be singing and dancing. With her beautiful blue eyes and contagious smile, she lit up any room she walked in to and made the simplest of activities fun and full of laughter. She loved to write, whether it was in her journals or her short story online for the world to read. She created her own style with any piece of clothing and a pair of scissors. She loved to shock the world with her sense of humor and with the way she told it like it was. She had an amazing, creative mind and loved to share it.She loved just as she lived, strong, wild and fierce!Kristen is pre-deceased by her mother Michelle (Shelly) Connors and survived by her father, Merle (Skip) Connors of Sanford, her children Daunte and Jyrzie Altovino, their father and her longtime friend and love, Jason Altovino of Sanford, her sister, Jodi and husband, Robby Lacasse of Biddeford, her brother, Derrick Connors of Sanford, her niece, Lea and nephews, Devin, Ryan and Brett, two great nieces, one great nephew and many aunts, uncles and cousins.Visiting hours for Kristen will be held on Saturday, June 16th from 10AM to 1PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.Condolences may be expressed at www.blackfuneralhomes.com
