Kevin Dionne Spring Burial

Kevin B. Dionne, 64 of Sanford, died at his home on Saturday, December 15, 2018.Kevin was born in Dover, New Hampshire on October 23, 1954 to Martin and Shirley (Davis) Dionne. He grew up spending time between Dover and his family's beach house in Wells, Maine and graduated from Raymond High School. During his working life he owned and operated The Ridge Restaurant in Wells for several years. He then worked as a self employed carpenter and also worked for FEMA for many years helping to coordinate disaster relief efforts wherever he was needed. Kevin loved going to yard sales and was a collector of many things. He liked to go shelling on Sanibel Island and having friendly competitions over who could come up with the best finds. He also loved to go camping with his wife at their favorite spot, Peaks Kenney State Park in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. Kevin was a very outgoing and friendly man and easily made friends wherever he went. He loved to talk and enjoyed striking up a conversation with anybody, whether he knew them or not. He will be remembered as a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be dearly missed.Kevin was predeceased by his parents and by a brother, Jimmy Dionne.Surviving are his wife, Katherine M. Dionne of Sanford; three daughters, Karen L. Hall and her husband Robert, Jr. of Sabattus, Maine, Gretchen K. Boynton and her husband Christopher of Orrington, Maine and Erica Rose Dionne of Portland, Maine; five grandchildren, Samantha Vachon, Jennifer Hall, David Hall, Reese Boynton and Isaac Boynton; a great-grandson, Owen Hall; three siblings, Craig Dionne and his wife Angeles, Stacie Dionne and Lisa Reader and her partner Bob Munroe; several nieces and nephews and his two dogs, Molly and Remy.A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 27th at Ocean View Cemetery in Wells.
