Topsham, ME - Kathleen M. (Ackerman) Munday, 76, passed away in Portland, ME on June 20, 2022 from natural causes.
After attending high school in Meadville, PA, she received her undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and Masters Degree from London Business School. She continued to have a successful finance career in New York City before marrying John A. Munday and choosing to stay home and raise their son. She spent many years in Concord and Brookline, Massachusetts before moving to Maine in 2020. Kathleen loved traveling the world and living in vibrant cities.
She is survived by her son, John T. Munday (Caitlin); grandson, Jack; her sister, Geri Williams; niece, Rennly; nephew, Connon; and her late husband's family in Melbourne, Australia.

We are so saddened to learn of Kathleen’s passing; I had written to her and the letter was returned.
We met when we first lived in London in 1976, and Kathleen lived just the other side of Holland Park.
A few years later, my husband and John Munday worked together in Saudi Arabia. We introduced Kathleen to John after she moved to New York City.
IN London, in 1976, at a cocktail party of mostly Americans with Chase, I think.
Kathleen was a very early riser, and a great nighttime follower of the world economy.
I wish we could spend time together again.
I wish you could have visited us again in Colorado Springs.
She was a brilliant cook, and had an excellent sense of style, and good behavior.
Appreciate the beautiful things in life…
Passionate and good-humored.
Family – and another family she loved who lost their mother at an early age.
