Kathleen S. Damon

PORTLAND - Kathleen S. Damon, 87, of Tate Street, died Friday, September 30, 2011, in Yarmouth. She was born in Kingman, on August 13, 1924, a daughter of Ralph and Pauline (Ashley) Brown. She attended Portland schools and graduated from Portland High School. Kathleen worked at Healthtex for twenty years prior to retirement. She enjoyed bingo, playing cards, and working crossword puzzles. She was a communicant of St Pious X Church. Kathleen is predeceased by her husband, George Damon, who died in 2004; a sister, Sophie; and four brothers, Bob, Gene, Ralph, and Clifford. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Visiting hours will be held 6:00 - 7:30 pm, Tuesday, at Conroy-Tully Crawford Funeral Home, 172 State Street, Portland.
