Katherine Alexander Russell

CAPE ELIZABETH- Katherine Alexander Russell, daughter of Ellen Alexander Russell and the late Superior Court Justice Earle L. Russell and niece of Mollie Alexander, died unexpectedly at her home on Monday, July 10, 2017. Katherine was a life-long resident of Cape Elizabeth, who graduated from Waynflete School and Endicott College. She was a loyal and dedicated employee at Verrill Dana for 28 years. Katherine was a former member of the Junior League of Portland and a communicant of St. Bartholomew Church in Cape Elizabeth. Katherine was a devoted sister, mother, aunt and Damie. She is survived by her sister, Phoebe Ann Russell; brother, James Alexander Russell; daughters, Ellen Russell Jordan and husband Ted, Mollie Alexander Coburn and husband Greg; several nieces and nephews; and most importantly, her 8 adored grandchildren, Katherine Burke Alexander Danyluk and husband John, Alexander Russell Jordan, Phoebe Ann Coburn, Caroline Alexander Coburn, Elizabeth Alexander Jordan, William Russell Jordan, James Emerson Coburn, and Burke Everett Coburn. There will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM on Friday, July 14, 2017 at St. Bartholomew Church, 8 Two Lights Road, Cape Elizabeth. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Broadway, South Portland. Arrangements are under the direction of the Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Home, 172 State Street, Portland.
