  7. My deepest condolences to Karen’s family and all who knew and loved her. Unfortunately as is too often the case I did not keep in touch with her very well over the years but will always remember Karen fondly as a good friend who always had a bright smile and kind words. I think the last time I saw her was when I photographed one of Karen’s sons for his high school senior portraits. Karen had a genuine beauty that shined from within and could not help but generate her physical beauty. Though she has left this earthly realm, know that she will always remain with you in your hearts, thoughts and memories. Keep yourselves open to it and she will come to you in some form that was part of her essence and you will know that it is her and she is at peace.

  21. My thoughts and prayers go out to Kevin, Sam, Patrick & Bridget and the family. Karen was one of the most caring, loving, genuine, and beautiful people I have known. We worked together at the Maine Medical Center when we were younger. A group of us hung out together for years and then I left for the USAF, and would only get back home occasionally. When back in Maine, several of us would still try to get together and it was always fun to catch up on where our lives had taken us. Karen, your smile, your laughter and love for life will live on forever in our memories. I feel blessed to call you a friend:-) Mr. Lewis
