Portland – Karen A. Furey, 60, passed away on January 1, 2025 at her home in Portland. Karen was born in the Bronx, NY on April 28, 1964, she is the daughter of Michael and Sarah (Conneely) Furey.
Karen grew up in the Bronx, NY and in 1970 her family moved to Irlend for 2 years before settling in Portland, ME. She attened Catherine McAuley High School, and graduated in 1982. Karen had a long career an Enviormental company.
Karen is predecased by her father, Michael Furey Jr. and sister, Catherine Ormmond. She is survived by her mother, Sarah Furey; sisters, Mary Ellen Pallozzi and Theresa Yarnold; and extended family members living in CarnMore, Anbally, and Galway, Irelend.
Services for Karen will be held for her in the Spring of 2025.
