Joel A. Ryder

Joel A. Ryder, 59, of Dover and Sanford, passed away on September 24, 2008 in Dover, NH. Joel was born on February 24, 1949 in Gardiner, MA, a son of Joseph A. and Noella U. (Rouillard) Ryder.He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1974. Joel had been residing in Dover, NH and working at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.He is predeceased by his parents. Survivors include one sister, Kathleen Parlin of Alfred, one brother, Stephen Ryder of Portland, and two daughters, Joelle Kristian and Danielle Shayne Ryder.Visiting hours for Joel will be on Tuesday October 7, from 6 to 8pm at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford.
