Guestbook

  1. Joanne has been a good friend since we met in 1962 when she was working as a part-time copywriter at WJAB Radio in Westbrook. Always the “Dolly Levi,” on one of her visits when I was living in Arlington, MA, she brought along a nice man for a potential (unsuccessful) match. As a cat lover, her stray cat rescues were never ending. Through the years we have stayed in touch, prior to her illness now and then enjoying lunch at the Olive Garden. Joanne loved her nieces and nephews and I know they loved her in return, and I extend condolences to them as well as to her special brother John.

  2. Joanne was a dear friend & neighbor of my Aunt Esther & Uncle Set on Gladys Rd in Cape Elizabeth After my aunt stopped driving Joanne was such a help to her & they loved going out to diner at their favorite restaurants. After my Aunt & Uncle died & I visited Portland from my home in PA & hen Minneapolis, I tried to arrange to get together with her. We had a lot of laughs when we went to diner at F. Parker Reddy’s & her car wouldn’t start.
