Joan F. Perkins

Joan Frances Perkins, 81, of Bedford, MA went to heaven on April 8, 2018 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.She was born on January 15, 1937 in Sanford, ME and grew up in Springvale, which she always called home. She was the only child of Kenneth and Mary (Gillings) Grover. She is predeceased by her two husbands Edward Harrison and Mark Perkins.She is survived by her two daughters Margo Woelfel and her husband Michael of Pepperell, MA and Lisa Shaw and her husband Robert of Dracut, MA. She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren; David Dudley Jr., Timothy Woelfel, Sarah Houston and her husband Stephen, Philip Antonelli Jr. and Molly Antonelli.A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 16 at 12:00 noon at Oakdale Cemetery in Sanford.In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association383 US RT 1 #2C,Scarborough, ME 04074 or ALS Foundation at The ALS Association Development Department, 1275 K Street, NW, Suite 250, Washington, DC 20005, in memory of her late husband Mark.Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.To leave a message of condolence, click tab at left.
