Jeffrey R. Charland

Jeff Roger Charland, 40, passed away unexpectedly due to injuries sustained in an auto accident on Saturday April 25, 2009. He was born in Biddeford, ME, son of Armand and Lorraine Charland of West Kennebunk. Jeff's greatest love was his wife of 22 years, Tina Gammon Charland, high school sweethearts that have never spent a day apart. Jeff lived in Lebanon for 20 years, working as a machinist at TK Machining for eight years. His passion was his love of antique cars and racing at Beech Ridge Speedway. Jeff was a selfless individual with a heart of gold, always eager to lend a hand. Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Tina Gammon Charland, parents Armand & Lorraine Charland of West Kennebunk, ME, in-laws Terry & Patti Gammon of Acton, ME, and Sherry & Peter Henderson of Alfred, ME; eight brothers and sisters, Richard Charland and David Charland of Waterboro, Paul Charland of Sanford, Ronald Charland of Buxton, Diane Paul of Arundel, Pamela Crepeau of Biddeford, Kathy Perron of Biddeford, Karen Souliere of Biddeford, and sister-in-law Laurie Groves of Westbrook, ME. Jeff is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews, and a great niece and nephew.Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 28th at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street in Springvale. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 29th.
