Jeannette L. Roux

Jeannette L. Roux, 88, of Lyman and formerly Sanford, passed away on Wednesday December 7, 2016 at the Newton Center in Sanford. She was born in Sanford on July 19, 1928 a daughter of the late Armand and Marguerite (Lemieux) Luneau.For many years she had been employed in the local shoe shops. A lifelong communicant of Holy Family, she was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella.She is predeceased by her husband, Raymond Roux who passed in 1984, one brother, Robert Luneau one son in law, Edward Carl Townsend.She is survived by her children, Arlene Townsend of Springvale, Laurette Green and her husband, Jeffrey of Hollis, Annette Picard and her husband, Donald of Hollis, Roger Roux of Lebanon, 12 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren, sisters, Irene Precourt of Biddeford and Jacqueline Ide and her husband, Nicholas of Melbourne, FL.Visiting hours will be on Sunday, December 11th from 3 to 5PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10AM at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery.
