Jeanne Y. (Therrien) Nadeau, 83, of Sanford, left this earth on Thursday February 7, 2008, in Sanford to join her beloved husband Raymond.She was born and lived her entire life in Sanford, a daughter of Alda (Ricard) Therrien.Quick-witted with an easy laugh and spirit, Jeanne loved life, people, and her family, instilling and inspiring countless special family traditions and memories. She enjoyed movies, music, dancing, and dining out.A communicant of St. Ignatius Church, Jeanne had a strong faith and love for God. Despite numerous debilitating health issues, her resilient attitude and demeanor was positive, and upbeat.She will lovingly be remembered and treasured by her five children, Anita Jacobs of Georgia, Paul Nadeau of Maine, Roland Nadeau of Maine, Elaine Stevens of Maine, and David James Nadeau of New Hampshire. Jeanne was the proud memere of 8, grand memere of 15, and aunt to many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brother, Ernest Therrien of MA, sister, Theresa Facer of New Hampshire, sister, Aline Schad of California, sister in law, Constance Nadeau of Maine. She was predeceased by one brother, Urban, and sisters, Ida, Rena, and Patricia.Jeanne was a beautiful loving person, who will be missed by us all.There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday February 11th at 11 :00am at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish- St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Sanford.
