Jeanette Severino Bouchard
February 28, 1926 ~ October 31, 2016
SOUTH PORTLAND - Jeanette Severino Bouchard, 90, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2016, following a long period of failing health. She was born in Portland, February 28, 1926, the youngest of eight children of Agrippino and Marie Estella (Olivetti) Severino. She attended Portland Schools and graduated from Portland High School. She married Roland L. Bouchard in August of 1959. They made their home at 62 Highland Avenue in South Portland. Jeanette worked for many years as a photographic archivist at the Portland Press Herald and then in the South Portland Public Library. Besides her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by all of her brothers Frank, Joseph and Anthony; sisters, Mary Nolfo, Josephine Maiorano, Grace Keaney and Agrippina Powell. She is survived by several nieces, Stella Sorrells, Marie Chenevert, Lucretia Romano, Margaret Hawkins, and Mary Ann Welch; nephew, John C. Keaney. She will be sadly missed by the Scott Frank and Richard Matthews families. Visiting Hours will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016, from 9:30AM - 10:30AM at the Conroy-Tully Walker South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland, followed by an 11AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, 72 Federal Street, Portland. This Earth will miss a wonderful, loving person who was very special to this family. Our family will always keep “Mrs.Bouchard” forever remembered in our hearts. She is now with her missed and loving husband,Roland and her dear friend, my grandmother. Jeannette,we will always love you… you were a true friend. Rest In Peace,my Dear.
