On behalf of a grateful Bishop Guertin Family, I offer heartfelt condolences on the loss of Jean. Be assured of our thoughts and prayers during the difficult days ahead. May the angels accompany her to paradise and her memory be eternal. With our deepest sympathy Linda Brodeur, on behalf of the entire Bishop Guertin Community
We were so sorry to hear of Jean’s passing. She was such a lovely lady, and a truly valuable person in our community. We traveled several times on tours she organized, and always found her to be such an easy, efficient, and pleasant hostess. We will miss her, and feel her loss in many ways. John (Larry) and Christine Musante
I had only known Jean and Ray for a relatively short time through the Athol Golden Age Club, but they were among the warmest people I have known. Jean had such exuberance for life in general, and the Golden Agers in particular. She could plan a trip as no one else could — her background research was impressive to make sure every single detail was enjoyable to all. I will be going on the last trip she had planned on Nov. 30 to Salem Cross Inn and will consider it in her honor! We will miss her earthly presence, but Heaven will be a much livelier place because she is there! Rest in Peace, Jean, you have earned it. Gloria Vera
