Dear Aunt Mary and Family – Please accept my sincerest and deepest sympathy on the passing of Uncle Chickie. I remember him as a kind and gentle man who treasured his family and seldom heard him say a bad word about anyone. Uncle Chickie was especially kind in accepting my Mother and her children into the family. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire McCartney and D’Alfonso families. With my love, Scott

Thinking of the family in this time of sorrow. My brother Ed coached Johnnie and Jimmy and my mom dad and I used to see Chick and Mary in church. He always had a big smile on his face. He would light up whenever the grandkids were there

Sincere condolences to the McCartney family. I only learned of Chickie’s passing today. He helped to make the Portland PO a nicer place to work…especially with his own brand of humor and compassion. God rest him.
