Jacqueline M. Lemieux

Jacqueline M. Lemieux, 72, of Sanford, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2009 at the Greenwood Center in Sanford. Born in Sanford on November 3, 1937, she was a daughter of the late William and Flora (Laprise) Bergeron.For many years she had been employed at York Heel and retired as a weaver from Tenneford Weaving. Following retirement she fulfilled her dream of returning to school, receiving her GED in 2002. She also volunteered her time at the Greenwood Center. She was also a lifelong communicant of Holy Family Church.She is survived by her husband, Albert J. Lemieux of Sanford, three sons, John M. Lemieux of Windham, Phil J. Lemieux of Waterboro and Paul A. Lemieux of Shapleigh, four grandchildren, Jason, Ben, Abigail and Reyanne, one sister, Rachel Dudley of Clinton, two brothers, Donald Bergeron of Berwick and Leon Bergeron of Biddeford.Visiting hours will this Sunday from 1 to 3PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11AM at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church.
