Henry was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Gorham. He loved his Lord Jesus Christ, his family and his friends. He worked as a sewing machine technician at Sanford Sewing Machines. He loved all things theological, philosophical and literary. He loved life and sharing a whiskey and cigar with friends, made even more enjoyable when accompanied by games.

Jesus his Savior, family, friends, and living life to it fullest.
He loved contra dancing…and other folk dances as well. While in the Czech Republic, a folk dancing group came to our retreat and invited the men to join in a special circle dance. It ended with the men dropping to the ground and doing pushups as they went around the circle….amazing!
Henry joined Redeemer Lutheran Church not long after I did. We served together on the Missions and Evangelism Board and went to the Czech Republic on a mission trip to teach children about the love of Jesus we taught them English. The kids adored him and his mustache. He made a difference in their lives…and ours.
MIke and I are very sorry for the tragically sudden loss of your beloved Henry. So sad! I just saw him
the week before at work during our sit & sew. He was a handsome sleuth that came out through the machine shop to get or do something out front. He was always extremely helpful and quick to diagnose a problem. You could feel his kind soul. You will be missed by all.
I loved knowing you since you were born. You were so quiet and didn’t know when you would find your voice. You certainly did. You are the most amazing man and I am so proud of who you turned out to be. You loved your family with everyting you are. You will be truly missed by so so many but mostly ME… Tell my Mom I said hello and so glad you are with her now. Love you Henry to moon and back.
We began attending Redeemer Lutheran church in Sanford on Saturday evenings and Henry began joining us there around the same time. He was such a kind and caring young man who has left us too soon. He will be greatly missed by many. We are very sorry for your loss and will keep your family in our prayers.

The handle bars on his mustache. He always reminded me of my Uncle ( his grandfather)
He even looks like him. He will be sadly missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. There are no words I can say that will make the pain go away, but just remember all the memories you’ve made with him. My God give you all the strength to carry on. We Love you all.đź’”

Henry’s life makes it clear that, above all things, he valued the glory of God and making his kindness imitate that of the Father’s. He was a gracious, patient, generous, and loving heart, and he will be missed.
