Helen M. Trumble

Helen M. Trumble, 89, of Springvale, passed away on Saturday Janaury 29, 2011 at the Rochester Manor. She was born in Harrison, ME, on November 30, 1921, a daughter of the late Carroll and Jennie (Little) Martin.In 1938 she married Joseph M. Trumble and they moved to Sanford in 1951. For many years she had been employed at the Sanford Dress Shop and retired in 1978 from Vishay Sprague. She was a loving and devoted mother and was liked by everyone. She enjoyed having her family around her and attending family events. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and crossstitch.She is predeceased by her husband, Jospeh M. Trumble who passed away in 1973, three sons, Russell S. Trumble, Brian W. Trumble and Michael W. Trumble, two grandsons, William J. Trumble and Brian W. Trumble Jr., one great granddaughter, Courtney J. Hanscom, six brothers, Stanley Martin, Robert Martin, Percy Martin, Howard Martin, Carroll Martin, Edward Martin, three sisters, Harriet Martin, Alice Martin Ashby, Jeanette Martin Perkins.She is survived by her children, Nancy Brennan of Springvale, Shirley Roux and her husband, Richard, Patricia Bourassa and her husband, Gerard, Carol Kimball and her husband, Paul, Deborah Martineau and her husband, Charles all of Sanford, Joseph Trumble Jr., of Springvale, William Trumble and his wife, Susan of Sanford, 25 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren, one sister, Verna Smith and her husband Wyern of Hudson, NH and several nieces and nephews.Visiting hours for Mrs. Trumble will be held on Thursday from 12noon until the time of the funeral service at 2PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.
