Hazel L. Marquez

Hazel Louise Marquez, 88, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Sunday May 12, 2013 at the Varney Crossing Nursing Home in North Berwick. She was born in Springvale on April 14, 1925 a daughter of the late Jack and Thelma (Demonds) Muchmore.She was employed at Sanford Shoe Shop and later at H.D. Goodall Hospital.Hazel was predeceased by her daughter, Lydia Marquez.She is survived by her son, Valiant Marquez and his wife, Doris of Shapleigh, two grandchildren, Penelope Collinsworth and Valerie Suhy of Waterboro, three great grandchildren, Madison, Troy and Lydia.A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11AM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside Lydia.Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.
