Harvey Fred Pinkham, 71, died unexpectedly on June 3rd at home.He was born in North New Portland, the son of Stanley and Mavis Pinkham. He served in the U.S. Army and worked mainly in the moving, trucking and carpentry fields. Harvey lived a simple care-free life. He loved fishing, playing cards, singing country songs, being outdoors, and just kicking back and enjoying himself amongst his family and friends, including a special dog Lucky.He will be sadly missed by his two daughters, Linda Pinkham of Stamford, Connecticut and Debbie Currier of Mount Vernon, his sisters Sandra Higgins of Palmyra, Judy Plourde of Augusta, Raylene Plante of Hartland, Jean Coffin of Windsor, Connecticut, and his brother Stanley Pinkham of Philippi, West Virginia. He will also be greatly missed by his nephew Bruce Carter and his wife Lisa of Springvale, their daughters Jennifer, Jessica, Magan and Ashley and their sons Brandon and Jason along with their families and children whom had unselfishly given him a loving home, care and devotion. He will also be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.A graveside service with military honors will be conducted at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 83 Stanley Road, Springvale, on Monday, June 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. A gathering will be held at the VFW, School Street, in Sanford immediately following the burial.Arrangements are under the direction of the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.
