Harland Crandall

Harland R. Crandall, 79 years old of Sanford, ME died suddenly on June 25, 2007 in Sanford, Me.Harland was born in Stoneham, MA on September 27, 1927. He was the son of the late Alfred V. and Sarah E. Perkins Crandall. Harland attended Stoneham schools and proudly served his country in the United States Army. For many years Harland worked for Clarostat Potentiometers, now a division of Honeywell as a pipefitter.Harland was a member of the Dover Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed music, dancing, and doing crossword puzzles. He also enjoyed going out with his wife and friends, and leading an active life.Predeceasing Harland is a daughter Diane White, and a son Louie Walters.Survivors include his wife Marjorie Langley Crandall of Sanford; three daughters, Kathleen Smith of Shapleigh, Tracey Purcell of Lebanon, ME, Kathleen Morrison of Sanford; three sons, Allen Clark of Tonkawa, OK, William Walters of Deering, NH, Robert Libbey of E. Waterboro, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.An 11:00 AM graveside service for Harland will be held this Thursday, June 28, 2007 at the Highland Grove Cemetery in Shapleigh, ME.Services for the Crandall family have been arranged through the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home of Springvale, ME.
