Grace A. Landry

Grace A. Landry, 91, longtime resident of Sanford, died November 19, 2003 at Goodall Hospital.She was born February 21, 1912 in Berlin, NH a daughter of Wilfred and Angelina (St. Pierre) Robitaille and was raised and educated in Sanford.Mrs. Landry worked as a spinner in the mills for many years and later for Aletta Dress Shop in Springvale. Grace was a talented seamstress and enjoyed knitting. A quiet and reserved woman, she was gracious and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Mrs. Landry was a lifelong member of St. Ignatius Church and a member of the Ladies of St. AnnFamily members include two sons: Gerard Landry of Sanford and Paul Landry of Roslindale, Mass. Her daughter, Margaret Bergeron of Sanford. Also, 5 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 32 years, Alexander Landry in 1977.Calling hours will be Friday, Nov. 21, 2003 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Heald Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale. A funeral Mass will be Saturday, November 22, 2003 at 9 AM at St. Ignatius Church with burial at St. Ignatius Cemetery.
