Gloria H. Dolloff

Falmouth- Gloria H. Dolloff, 93, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the Barron Center. She was born in Sebago Lake, ME the daughter of Frederick W. and Mary E. Bulson Ryall. She attended local schools and graduated from Sebago Lake High School. Gloria started dancing at the age of two and then danced professionally through her mid-twenties from Maine to Florida. When Gloria started her family she gave up dancing professionally, and went to work as a dental assistant for Dr. Sullivan Hirshon and then later did office work for many years retiring in the nineties from Dickson Brothers Oil Company. In her spare time, Gloria was a very active member of NAMI. She enjoyed quilting, making and selling her own jewelry, sewing everything from clothes to curtains and a special love for gardening. Gloria was predeceased by her husband Clyde Dolloff; three sisters Joanne Ryall, Marjorie DeGrishe and Dorothy Dolloff; two brothers John and Olin Ryall. She is survived by a daughter Susan Lewey Hamilton of Portland; a son Peter Hamilton of Augusta; two grandchildren Ashley Leeman of South Portland and Jonathan Evans of Portland; two great grandchildren Eli Payne of Portland and Ella Grace Gloria Leeman of South Portland; a niece Linda Covert of Buxton; a nephew Robert DeGrishe of Standish, along with several other nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on May 16, 2015 at 11:00am at Hillside Cemetery in Gorham.
