Gloria Chenard

Gloria Y. Chenard, 84, of Sanford, died on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at the Goodall Hospital in Sanford. Gloria was born in Springvale on October 21, 1924 to Patrick and Anna Turmelle Chenard and attended local schools. She was a 1944 Graduate of Sanford High School. During her working life she was employed at local shoe shops and at Sprague Electric where she worked until her retirement. She had been a member of St. Therse of Lisieux Parish in Sanford/Springvale. Gloria enjoyed reading and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She will be remembered as a kind and loving sister and aunt and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.Surviving are a sister, Lorette Noel of Sanford; a brother, Edmond Chenard of Springvale and several nieces and nephews.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 15th at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Notre Dame Church in Springvale. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery in Springvale.
