Delray, FL Gertrude Kathleen (Sullivan) Rocchini, 90, died on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Lakeview Care Center. She was born in Flume Ridge, New Brunswick, Canada on April 18, 1926. Gertrude spent most of her life in Portland and was a legal secretary for Arthur Chapman. She loved her friends, restaurants, and square dancing. Gertrude had a heart of gold and never raised her voice in anger. The world will be a lesser place without her. Gertrude is predeceased by her first husband, Raymond Kane. She is survived by her husband, Ennio Rocchini of FL; a son, Stephen Kane also of FL. Prayers will be recited at the Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Home, 172 State Street, Portland, on Friday, June 10 at 9:15AM followed by a 10AM Mass of Christian Burial at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 307 Congress Street, Portland.   1. My sympathy to Steve and Ennio. Trudie and I have been friends since the early 1950’s. Ray Kane and my husband Warren were school friends. I enjoyed many good times with her when she lived in Portland. She was supposed to be one of my bridesmaids, but you Steve were due to be born a couple of days after my marriage in April of 1953. I remember good times too at Old Orchard Beach. She truly was a gem and my she rest in Peace.
