George A. St. Hilaire, 75, of Sanford, passed away on Monday January 9, 2023. He was born and raised in Nashua NH., He served four years in the USAF, was a Vietnam Veteran, Specialized in Encryption, served in Germany and Vietnam, visited the Swiss Alps, Germany and France while on Active Duty. George worked as a General Manager for ECRM in Nashua, NH. While traveling for sales to China he was forever grateful to walk the Great Wall of China prior to becoming paralyzed. He participated with the North East Passage Adaptive Sports, UNH Adaptive Sports, MEPVA, PV of America, Played Wheel chair Adaptive Tennis at the Arthur Ash Stadium and at the Harvard University courts. He attended sailing and boating with other Veterans on several occasions and caught the largest fish of the veterans who fished from Wentworth by the Sea this past summer. He also attended Adaptive sports clinics, water skiing and down hill snow skiing with special equipment provided to him by the VA. Also Maine Adaptive sports summer camp where he repelled into the lake after climbing 80ft into a tree to repel in the lake. He thanks the Patriots Riders from Sanford Maine for raising the funds to purchase the special harnesses that he needed for repelling. He waterskied and kayaked and loved anything or sport that was dangerous!! He often bent his wheelchair rims from jumping off curbs and cement walls! At West Roxbury he loved his family, his daughter Dani, son David, Grand daughters Morgan, Yvonne and Natalia. He enjoyed visits with family and was amazed by his nephew Avett. He also loved and respected his brother Bill whom he looked up to and had many shared adventures to tell of, his sisters, Louise and Marie who he admired for their intelligence and professions. George was Married to Judy St Hilaire, who passed away years ago. He married Dona C Sacks St. Hilaire and just celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary. He passed on her birthday. George was a great hearted, articulate, kind and generous man. He wished he could have been with his family more often but has been to sickly for several years. The family would like to thank Dr. Grace Stanley of the Somersworth VA, Dr. Baumgart of York Hospital, The Manchester VA, Jamaica Plains VA, and the West Roxbury Va, the Dr.s and staff in the SCI clinic for their continued care. George will be missed by his family, friends and his “bride” Dona. Also many thanks for his friends at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Sanford Maine. Also, many thanks to the funeral Home and Michael for all that he has done to navigate this heartbreaking and difficult loss of her beloved P2!! George will be sadly missed by his step children Justin Bradovich, wife Christine, children Chase, Ayden, Aleah, Katie, Megan, step daughter, Nicole Vejar, husband Ray, children Dennis, Dylan, Marisa, Ray, Robert, Madison and Sierra. Step Son Jared Bradovich, wife Alexis, children Riley, London, Mother in law Mildred Sacks. Also his sisters and brothers in-laws. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 16th at 11AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 25 Westview Drive, Sanford.   1. George and I were in the 1st Graduating class at then Manches ter Vocational Institute in the Industrial Electricity. He will always be remembered about soft spoken, friendly and kind. Happy to hear about his successful career.
