George Brooks

George Brooks Jr., from Sanford Maine passed away at 55 years old.
George is survived by 3 sons Dennis, Dylan, and Devon. And can't forget his first and only grand daughter Serenity Brooks.
He was born in Brighton mass, raised in Somerville Mass, eventually meeting Tracey Dumont who would become his wife. Sanford Maine is where they settled and made a family.
When George wasn't working, days off always meant going out on the boat, fishing, four wheeling, playing outside with the dog, pass, biking, R.C. cars and planes. Anything to be outdoors having fun. He was really good at flying kites.
George loved his family so much, he worked two full time jobs, sleeping an hour or two before the next job. All to provide a good life for his family.
George was loved by everyone who met him. He was the last of 7 children. The whole family will always love, and never forget George Brooks Jr.
Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.

I could call my dad up at any time, with any kind of problem and he would either have an answer that made sense, or drop what he was doing to help me.
The number one thing my father geroge did to help people, was to simply put a smile on there face.
I love how he always persevered, no matter what curveball came his way.
Yup yup giddyup
George had a soft spot for cats.
He would give you the shirt off his back.
Way back when there were these things called cars, with carbureted engines, he was an ace mechanic
Through all George’s travels, you would very rarely ever see him in a bad mood, dwelling on something negative.
My father George Brooks could literally fix anything.
I’ll always remember his love for the outdoors, fishing being his number one go to.
My dad taught me to be a good honest man.
My dad was always my biggest mentor. I wouldn’t be the man I am, without him. You’re forever loved and missed. Til next time….keep it under 200!!! Brooks owwt!!
I am George’s oldest son, dennis.
My favorite story of George is of when I was first born. How being a father changed him, and that he was so proud to be a dad. He loved his 3 sons more then anything.
My father George worked 1st and 2nd shift, full time jobs, to give his family a good life.
