Garry F. Brown, 61 years old, of Lebanon, ME died Wednesday June 28, 2006 at his home surrounded by his loving family.Mr. Brown was born in Brunswick, ME on February 2, 1945. He was the son of Lenwood Sr. and Sylvia (Toothaker) Brown. He attended Brunswick and Harpswell schools, and as a young man he enlisted in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Germany for over two years until his honorable discharge in 1966.Mr. Brown was a master mechanic. For many years he worked at Tuffcoat, and Sears Automotive. He was a member of the American Legion, and loved to go camping, fishing, four-wheeling, or build model planes.He was a loving and caring man with a great sense of humor. He especially enjoyed family time with his wife, daughter, and grandchildren. Mr. Brown was also a member of the Second Baptist Church of Lebanon.Surviving is his wife of 40 years Virginia (Perkins) Brown of Lebanon, a daughter Lisa Keen and her husband Kevin of Lebanon; two step children, Patricia Staples and her husband Charlie of Phippsburg, Jamie Gilman of Phippsburg; four grandchildren, Amanda Brown-Braswell and her husband Michael, Timothy Keen, Brandyn Keen, Krystal Keen, and two step-grandchildren, Wesley Staples, and Brandy Staples. Also surviving are four sisters; Marion Owen, Christi Gilliam, Kathy Brown, Susie Walker; four brothers, Sterling Brown, Lenwood Brown Jr., Timothy Brown, Peter Brown, and several nieces and nephews.A period of visitation for Mr. Brown will be held this Sunday, July 2, 2006 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main St., Springvale, ME; where funeral services will be held on Monday, July 3, 2006 at 11:00 AM.
