Gail C. Nevison

Gail C. Nevison, 62, of Sanford, passed away on Thursday at the Southern Maine Health Care in Sanford. She was born in Sanford on October 24, 1951 a daughter of Lloyd C. and Doris I. (Fraser) Woodman. She graduated from Sanford High School in 1971.For many years she was employed at the family business, Jerry Lewis Twin Cinemas in Sanford. She then worked 10 years as a manager at McDonalds. For the past 22 years she had been employed at the Lafayette Resort at Wells Beach, formerly Forbes Motel Resort at Wells Beach. Gail enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She loved animals especially her cats. She also enjoyed spending time at her parents cottage at Drake's Island and overnight getaways to North Conway with family, friends and Richard. A warm, kind, loving person her presence filled a room with warmth.Gail is survived by her husband, Richard Nevison of Sanford, daughter, Lori Hayden and her husband, Charles of Lebanon, grandchildren, Matthew Hayden, Libby Hayden, parents, Lloyd and Doris Woodman of Wells, uncle, Gordon Fraser and wife, Dian of Sanford.A funeral service for Gail will be held on Tuesday at 1PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale. Visiting hours will begin at 11AM until the time of the funeral service.
