Gabriel J. Dunlap

Gabriel John Dunlap Jr., "Gibby", transcended his earthly body on February 18th, 2015 leaving behind the love of his life, his wife of 46 years, Annette Dunlap, 2 daughters, LeighLon Anderson and Amanda LaVopa and 6 beautiful grandchildren, as well as, many extended family members and friends. Gabriel was born in Chicago, IL and resided in Springvale Maine for the last 14 years (though his heart was always somewhere warmer). Most remember him by his bold presence and unique--sometimes inappropriate--sense of humor. In his more vibrant years he enjoyed playing guitar, singing, photography, fishing, dreaming big, swimming, road trips, having fun and playing pranks!He was a devoted husband and father who had the incredible ability to turn any situation, negative or otherwise, into an event filled with laughter and joy.
