Frances Thibodeau

Frances Thibodeau, 65, of Sanford, passed away on Tuesday January 20, 2009 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Fort Kent, Maine on July 13, 1943, a daughter of Edmund and Sadie (Theriault) Levesque. She attended local schools in Fort Kent.On October 31, 1964 she married Gilman 'Gil' Thibodeau at St. Louis Catholic Church in Fort Kent. She has been living in Sanford since 1970 moving here from Fort Kent.She was a communicant of Holy Family Church. She was a member of the Wolves Social Club and enjoyed shopping and spending time with family and friends.She is predeceased by her husband, Gilman Thibodeau, her father, Edmund Levesque and one brother, Maurice Levesque.A loving mother and memere, she is survived by her three daughters, Lisa Thibodeau of Sanford, Tina Lavoie and her husband, Cap of Alfred and Carol Thibodeau and companion, Jake Bemis of Springvale. She is also survived by her mother, Sadie Levesque of Frenchville, three grandchildren, Shayna and Zachary Thibodeau and Meagan Lavoie, two sisters, Barbara Pelletier of Frenchville and Beatrice Voisine of Fort Kent. Her companion, Roger St. Jean of CT also survives her.Visiting hours will be on Friday from 6 to 9pm at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11am at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish- Holy Family Church in Sanford.
