Floryce R. Casey, 78, of Springvale passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford. She was born on October 20, 1942 to Clarence and Clarice (Pierce) Casey in Bath. Floryce was raised in Dresden, ME and attended local schools there. In her younger years, she was employed in a shoe factory. Her primary work was as a housekeeper and caregiver for the elderly. Flo enjoyed living in the central Maine area for most of her life. For the last seven years, she has been a resident of The Lodges Care Center in Springvale. Floryce enjoyed doing crafts, especially needlepoint. She was an avid doll collector and loved all things purple. She is predeceased by her parents, a brother Richard Casey and sisters Linda Lachance and Mary Clement. Floryce was raised in foster care and special thanks are given to the Stilphen's for their continued love and support. She is survived by her brothers, Michael Casey, of Portland, OR, Clarence Casey Jr. and his wife Debby of Dudley, MA, and William "Tony" Casey and his wife Margaret, of Sanford, well as many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Pine Grove Cemetery in Dresden, ME.   1. Ms. Flo….She was a quite, but kind Lady, at her previous Residency where I use to work I recall her being aloof, and independent as much as she could be. Her love for “Iced” Tea, and I still have her Homemade Coaster she made for me, and some other Staff also, she was lovely. My condolences to her Loved ones, and may God Bless Ms. Flo and now she is at peace, with no pain, no struggles, just Solace….
