Florette Fifi Abbott
May 7, 2012
Scarborough's oldest resident died peacefully at The Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine on May 7th 2012. A proud woman she lived the final days of her life on her own terms. Memories of FiFi reside in the souls of her sister Lorraine McIntosh, her grand-daughter Stacey Abbott and her beloved three grandsons Tucker, Sayler and Sullivan Conley. She cherished her house on Higgins Beach, along with her dog Max, who now romps the woods in Eustis, Maine. Despite the loss of her only son and grandson, her will to live life was evident to all who knew her. A private celebration of her life will be held at Black Point Cemetery. Arrangements by Conroy-Tully Crawford South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway South Portland.Online condolences may be expressed below.

My deepest sympathy to Florette’s family. She was a very special woman and a wonderful neighbor at the beach. I will miss her!

Stacy, My husband Emil and I send you and your family our deepest sympathy on the loss of your grandmother. Florette was my aunt and was married to my mother’s brother Clayton. She was so fortunate to have you and your boys in her life. Should you ever want to know more about the Abbott family, please feel free to phone me anytime. I live on Long Island ME and am just a boat ride away from Portland. You have a number of cousins of the Abbott side who also send their sympathy. In peace, Nancy Berges
