Fernand J. Lamontagne

Fernand J. Lamontagne, 88, of Sanford, passed away at his home on Wednesday April 13, 2016. He was born in Sanford on August 2, 1927 a son of the late Adelard and Blanche (Moore) Lamontagne.He retired from Tenneford Weaving after many years of service with the company. He was a member of the Maine Obsolete Automobile League (MOAL).He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Yvette (Gagnon) Lamontagne, children, Michael Lamontagne and his wife, Linda of Sanford, Denis Lamontagne of Sanford, Susan Thibeault and her husband, Richard of Bowling Green, KY, Claire Bonti and her husband, Anthony of Sanford and Chris Lamontange of Sanford, grandchildren, Kevin Lamontagne, Stephen Lamontagne, Patrick Lamontagne, Sarah Miller, Krystal Bonti, great grandchildren, Isabella Lamontagne, Chloe Lamontagne, Owen Lamontagne, Everett Miller, brother, Gerard Lamontagne and his wife, Sally, sister in law, Jackie Lamontagne.Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 2 to 4PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Monday at 10AM.
